The artist impersonates Turritopsis Dohrnii (The immortal jellyfish) wearing a technology-based costume constructed from LED lights and cables. Turritopsis Dohrnii is an extraordinary creature, that has existed on our planet since the beginning. It possesses regenerative abilities and can restart its life in an endless cycle. The performance is based on choreography and interaction for Borås Art Museum in collaboration with musician and vocalist Randi Pontoppidan. Turritopsis Forever opens a space for questions, reflection, and self-awareness concerning regeneration, cycles, time, and existential being.
